1. Miami Marlins: 104-54-10: Led by the trio of Kinsler, Braun, and Cabrera, the Marlins offense is one of the strongest in the league. They'll need to improve their pitching if they want to repeat as NL Champs though.
2. Boston Red Sox: 94-60-14: Steady and consistent describe the BoSox. They've won all but 2 matchups all season, and have currently won 7 straight. Not a team you wanna mess with when they get hot.
3. LA Angels: 87-70-11: Despite injuries to Tulo and Kemp the Angels have remained right in the thick of things. Once they come back the Angels have a good shot at winning the AL.
4. St. Louis Cardinals: 110-47-11: Mike Trout has led the Cards to the NL's best record. Can he lead them to the World Series though?
5. Chicago White Sox: 94-61-14: Jose Bautista's been doing his usual thing, and it looks like he'll easily reach 50 homers again, and maybe even challenge 60.
6. Colorado Rockies: 90-62-16: They're slide has corresponded nearly perfectly with Josh Hamilton's struggles as of late. They'll need Hamilton and Lincecum to pick up some slack if they want to make it out of the first round.
7. New York Mets: 94-64-10: At the start of the season it looked like pitching was a strength of theirs, but it certainly doesn't appear that way now with Jeremy Guthrie and Ricky Romero imploding, and Daniel Hudson out for who knows how long. David Wright has been a bright spot on offense.
8. New York Yankees: 92-67-9: The Yanks have been the fastest rising team in the league lately. Chris Sale leads their rotation and looks like he could contend for a Cy Young award.
9. Milwaukee Brewers: 86-67-15: They aren't very exciting to look at, but the Brew Crew boasts an all around very solid team. Someone to watch out for come playoff time.
10. Philadelphia Phillies: 94-64-10: Juan Pierre can still steal bases even in his 12th major league season. He could swipe the 600th of his career later this season.
11. Texas Rangers: 81-80-7: Injuries have crushed a once promising season for the Rangers. They currently have 10 players on the DL.
12. Baltimore Orioles: 85-66-17: Tyler Clippard has been arguably the best RP in baseball this season. Don't be surprised if he holds onto the closers role even after Drew Storen comes back.
13. Minnesota Twins: 77-75-16: Adam Dunn's power resurgence this year has been a thing of beauty to watch. He looks like a near lock to reach 500 career homers in the next few years, and may even have an outside shot at 600. Wouldn't that be something.
14. Houston Colt .45s: 82-71-15: Like the Rangers, injuries have really hurt the Colt .45's as of late. They currently have 5 offensive players DLed. Luckily they've got a veteran leader on the bench in Miguel Tejada.
15. Toronto Blue Jays: 79-79-10: The Blue Jays remain one of the more feel good stories of the 2012 season. Alex Rios and Aaron Hill lead a surprisingly good offense.
16. LA Dodgers: 76-77-15: Cliff Lee is doing little to justify his $45M+ salary this season. So far he's made about half a million dollars for every inning he's thrown.
17. Cincinnati Reds: 77-80-11: You could definitely make an argument for Jason Kipnis being the best 2B in baseball right now.
18. Arizona Diamondbacks: 77-71-20: Amazingly, the Diamondbacks don't have a player hitting below .267
19. Washington Nationals: 74-83-11: Any day now, Grady Sizemore should be back and Pedro Alvarez will certainly appreciate the help as the duo leads the Nats to the World Series.
20. Oakland A's: 64-93-11: Ernesto Frieri currently owns a minuscule .73 ERA and a 14.8 K/9
21. San Diego Padres: 58-92-18: Well they've certainly got some big names, but the results just haven't been there this year for the Pads.
22. Cleveland Indians: 71-87-10: Adam Jones is making the most of his contract year, finally putting up the numbers that everyone thought he would a couple of years ago.
23. Atlanta Braves: 51-99-18: Meet the Mets, meet the Mets. Step right up and greet the Mets! Oh wait... this is actually the Braves. Starting 6 Mets hasn't been a great strategy for Atlanta so far.
24. Chicago Cubs: 63-85-20: Paul Goldschmidt has become a legitimate threat at 1B lately, mashing to the tune of a .380 batting average and 1.1 OPS over the last 2 weeks.
25. KC Royals: 66-88-14: Ahhh... what a disappointing season it's been for the Royals. They've got a chance to move up these ranks quickly though now that Salvador Perez is back and Eric Hosmer is finally hitting a little. Hard to tell what's been wrong with Desmond Jennings this year.
26. Tampa Bay Rays: 47-107-14: Wow! Who knew that Oliver Perez was still pitching?
27. San Fran Giants: 51-99-18: The Giants have one of the brightest futures in the league. They've got a great farm system and all have promising youngsters like Anthony Rizzo, Trevor Bauer, and Addison Reed up in the majors.
28. Pittsburgh Pirates: 43-111-14: The Pirates currently have 8 MLB players, a new record for them. Is this a sign of good things to come?
29. Seattle Mariners: 32-122-14: Maybe next year...
