Mahle has served me well and belonged as part of the greatest ODC rotation of all time. Unfortunately, all good things must come to and end and this is where it lands for Mahle. Smith feels like a decent to solid versatile player that can contribute long-term and Silseth will join the SP ranks in my high-minors.

Accept. I only have 2 other pitchers that will be in the starting rotation on opening day (Manaea who was awful last year and Brad Keller who is equally as bad), so I need Mahle for minimums. Also, Mahle is a pretty good rental. Josh Smith is a terrible slap hitting utility man and Silseth is whatever.
