Veto. Greene has a really really good chance to be a frontline starter and Mize has basically been a less durable Adrian Houser to this point in his career.

This is a pass between two long standing GMs and I see and understand the gamble but it's pretty wreckless for a newer owner and I feel the need to protect the Boston franchise with a veto

I am normally extremely anti-veto except in the case of obvious collusion or new owners. The latter applies here.
I can squint and see the reasoning (Mize maybe comes back in 2024 and is solid, plus adding Flores), so it'd be a pass between league vets, but I don't know if Ahmed yet understands the value of pre-arb pitching with this upside. I'm open to them reworking with this but I think Ahmed deserves a chance to look this over again.
