SP- Danny Duffy (3 years, $17.6m per - $52.8 total)
Duffy was rewarded handsomely after his best season in 2016 where he reached career bests in Wins, K/9 and Innings Pitched. Entering his age 28 season, Minnesota could quite possibly have locked Duffy in for three of his prime years.
C - Wilson Ramos (3 years, $9.8 per - $29.4 total)
Ramos and Minnesota came to terms in another somewhat pricey agreement, after a 2016 season that saw Ramos shatter his previous AVG/SLG/OPS highs, with 22 homers to boot. Though he underwent right knee ACL and meniscus surgeries in October, Ramos should be counted on as the Twins everyday backstop by mid- June.
C - Carlos Ruiz (1 year, $0.5 per - $0.5 total)
"Chooch" inked a one-year deal as an insurance policy while Minnesota awaits Wilson Ramos' return to their lineup. Playing in the American League for the first time in his career, the 37 year old Ruiz could benefit from the change of scenery and potentially increased playing time.
