This is a list of the guys that I need to hear back on regarding your acceptance of their real life contracts: Anthony Rizzo - accepted Mike Trout This list is obviously not currently complete. If you have a graduating year 6 (Graduating 6's on your roster are the 6's that do NOT have a salary listed) and are unsure on their contract status, check COTS

Someone like Adam Warren doesn't have a salary, but he's a (6) next year, correct?

yes, the guys listed year 6 but do not have a salary are the ones that need arb calculated. The 6's that do have a salary are expiring and I just haven't changed them out b/c i'm waiting to hear on extensions or whether they'll receive one before the end of the world series.

I needed a way to find the new year 6 guys and not mix in the old year 6 guys so that I could finish the changeover to 2018. The guys listed as 7's are graduating to free agency but have until the world series ends to sign an extension. They only exist in the period between my calculating arbitration so that people's cap numbers are nearly finalized for 2018 and the end of the world series which is the deadline for them to get an extension. As far as Gonzalez goes, it's 50 career IP to move to a 2. 2 years ago we found that RP's weren't ever making it to year 2. Players lose rookie eligibility in real life at a similar point in their careers, so we modified to career instead of single season. Gardner was accepted a year or so ago, so nothing to do there. I don't see an extension for Hector Santiago to sign. The rest is updated

Wei-Yin Chen --> decline
This means that 4M of money gets sent back to Boston while I keep HOU 2018 5th and he instead receives HOU 2018 6th per the terms of our conditional trade

For Gonzalez - looking at the league rules it still says "A player's first year is the year that they exceed either 150 AB or 50 IP in a single season" I don't see anything about it being career innings. Not saying you're wrong just that the rules should be updated if we made that change. Is it career innings for SP and RP, or just RP? Because Gonzalez started more games than he appeared in relief last year.
