Knowing everyone wants to play teams from the opposite leagues, I'm putting together an Idea...it's not perfect, but it could work for now.. Here are the steps
1. Make the ODC playoffs league 20 Teams
2. Eliminate All Star Game (Or there is an alternative rookie game (see 5.)
3. Each leagues top 9 teams play each other during the championship week
4. Why these games count: Rule V status...Make the top 12 spots the bottom 12 teams but then after that the Rule V can go best 9 in the NL or AL based on which League wins the most matchups...Say if the AL top 9 goes 5-4 vs the NL top 9...then the RV draft would be the Bottom 12 in order first, then picks 13-21 would be the AL top 9 teams in standings order, then the NL Top 9 teams from pick 22-30
5. All Rookie Game...Because there will still be 12 teams mostly non competitive rebuilders with young talent, the bottom 6 Managers of the AL and NL can make a team of their Rookies and Maybe 2nd year players as well
Obviously just something I though of in 5 minutes and could use adjustments, but it's better than the nothing people do in the chat
