NL:
Matchup of the week:
[glow=red,2,300]Mets[/glow] vs. Phillies- This matchup will come down to the last day and will be fun to see who wins. Winner will most likely take the lead in the toughest division in the NL. I am taking the Mets in a close one.
Other matchups:
[glow=red,2,300]Marlins[/glow] vs. Nationals- I personally think the Marlins will win this week. Marlins has the better offense, the starting pitching could go either way, and the Nats have the edge in the BP.
Padres vs. [glow=red,2,300]Rockies[/glow]- This could be an interesting matchup especially if the Pads offense gets it together. I believe the Rockies take this matchup due to pitching and a slightly better offense.
Dodgers vs. [glow=red,2,300]DBacks[/glow]- I believe the DBacks take this week because his everyday players are better and he gets Upton back from injury. DBacks also has a better set of starting pitchers and the Dodgers lost Lee this past week.
[glow=red,2,300]Cardinals[/glow] vs. Pirates- Cards will take this thing fairly easily but with the few guys the Pirates have he can steal a few categories as he has each week so far.
[glow=red,2,300]Brewerso[/glow] vs. Cubs- A matchup the Brewers should easily win with the Cubs having few players that play a lot. Cubs will steal a few categories as he has each week.
[glow=red,2,300]Reds[/glow] vs. Astros- This one could go either way but I think the Reds come out on top. Astros have some injuries to some of their top offensive players but have reasonable other guys. Reds has the better offense and a slight edge in pitching, while the bullpens are fairly even.
[glow=red,2,300]Braves[/glow] vs. Giants- The depleted Braves roster from last season will prevail in this one but not by much. Giants have a better bullpen and could compete easily with their SP. Braves have a slit edge in offense.
AL:
Matchup of the week:
Rangers vs. [glow=red,2,300]Angels[/glow]- This is the best matchup this week. The Rangers are missing their best player due to injury while the Angels are missing one of their stud SPs. The Rangers have 2 holes in their offense so I see the Angels taking more categories in that section especially in Kemp stays so hot. I however like the Rangers pitching more. Angels should take the saves portion considering they have 2 closers but I like the SPs of the Rangers to help him win most of those categories. I see this going either way but I will take the Angels at most a 2 category win.
Other matchups:
Blue Jays vs. [glow=red,2,300]Twins[/glow]- Expect a fairly even matchup here with the Twins winning it. Twins offense is better since the Jays are missing Howard, Jays have a slight edge in pitching, and the bullpens should be close in numbers.
[glow=red,2,300]Royals vs. Whitesox[/glow]- 2nd best matchup in the AL this week even if their current records don't show it. The records also show how tough this division is. The Whitesox have the edge in offense and the Royals have the edge in pitching but I really don't have a clue who to choose so I predict a tie.
Rays vs. [glow=red,2,300]Redsox[/glow]- I think the Redsox will take this matchup wi the Rays stealing a few categories that you can see the Sox winning
Indians vs. [glow=red,2,300]Tigers[/glow]- I think the Tigers should win this with ease. Indians have a solid offense but I just don't think there are many teams who can top the Tigers. Also his pitching staff is one of the best in the league. And it is another thought matchup in the Central.
[glow=red,2,300]Orioles[/glow] vs. Yankees- If the Yankees SPs can get it together this matchup will be close but if not the Orioles will walk on through another matchup.
Mariners vs. Athletics- With the M's not having much on the team at all I see him possibly taking a few cats and the A's walking through to an easy win.
