No, my point is that nobody has to put in any time in here at all outside of their team. I have to manage many, many other aspects of the league since nobody else will. When I get asked to hover and police every FA thread to lock when they expire and when Greg asks me to process his crappy trades the second they pass it gets annoying to say the least. Especially when nobody else is contributing the extra time and effort that I do.

ALL IT TAKES is for people to be somewhat competent and we don't have this problem. But we as a group cannot do that.

Shooting things down because you can’t/don’t want to do them isn’t right. Try to find someone to do it. It’s not much and someone can be around to do it if you’d just send a quick PM or PC to ask.

The reason I don't do that is because I don't trust more than 2 people to handle such a thing. And the reasons that I can't trust the 27 other people to do these things correctly has pretty clearly been laid out in FA's this year and the 3-4 prior ones.

If you can't run a spreadsheet yourself to do the addition and subtraction a pen and paper works similarly well.

Either you can run the league and do everything required to make it happen or you delegate it to others. Or else things will start to go down. People are getting smarter, new issues will keep arising. One small thing here, another there and next thing we know it’s a massive issue that you could have handled earlier. You can’t neglect to do things because you don’t trust people. Who is to say that anyone trusted you when you took this over? Obviously we do now because you do a great job, but you need to pay that forward if you can’t handle it all

Brandon does more than enough with this being a FREE league. Him having kids and family outside of this. You should not expect him to update trades or signings, immediately. It is simple addition/subtraction when you make a trade to see how much money you or someone else has left.
The rule of having to post remaining salary and outstanding bids did cause most of this confusion but the rule was very well aware of by all of the owners excluding, Wood. If you think these kind of bids will be apart of Free Agency for strategic purposes then you can call out the person for it yourself. I know earlier this off-season when Caleb was “outbidded” on a player by Jedd. He asked for the people in chat to quit mentioning it so that he could win x player.
The rule was very well explained and for others to unknowingly up the bid it should not be a burden on Brandon to correct all of these bids. It is highly likely that the person bidding against them knows and just does not want to say anything because those people fail to follow the rules.
If Greg had wanted Jordan Zimmerman he could have very easily held bids on him and the other player, with how much cash he had. If managers here would not wait for the 23 hour mark they might not get screwed by Brandon for not doing his “job.”
Next year I see this rule more of an attempt by Elijah to foil the league than anything but it will not work. People are well aware of this rule by now and if they see the bid is invalid; they have an option on calling it out or leaving it “outstanding” for strategic purposes.

Also, please don’t let the fact that nobody knows the bidding rules distract you that I was defrauded by jack in my Jordan Zimmerman trade.
