It seems like the rules are wishy washy to members(Noah, Jack, Max). Who have been apart of this league for years.
Everyone in this league and in any fantasy league for that matter know that the deadline to make a roster move is on first pitch.
How many times are we (Michael) going to let others to get away with this? We have rules and we need to finally enforce these rules and make an example of someone.
I agree with Sanders that some slack could be given for Max but I think he needs to forfeit 5 of the 7 pitching cars, excluding holds and saves.
Someone will break the rules again next week that are not "clearly stated."
Mlb suspended players for cheating on rules that were not clear years later. The same can be done here.
Take action or this crap will just continue.

Taking out everything except holds and saves is ridiculous, my problem is that it's obviously intentional 12:15 Mon: Adds Pillar, drops Kintzler 1:00 Mon: First Pitch Mikes admitted deadline and the deadline that's been used for the last 6 years is in 9:06 Mon: Announced Trevor Cahill will make his starts this week 9:16Mon: Adds Cahill drops Holland
He said that fantrax didn't process it in time, but that was clearly untrue because it clearly processed the first transaction, then he said he didn't do it earlier in the day because there were storms all day, despite saying he asked Jack on chat (which no one remembers or we'd tell Jack he's wrong).
If that last part was a tuesday there'd be no questions asked. Elijah's going to give excuses for how the rules aren't clear, but if you're not a fucking idiot you can infer that when it says rosters lock monday it means first pitch. The rosters don't say you can't go out and add any player you want that isn't owned on Fantrax, it's inferred, it's how this league is able to run without constant babying from the LM's. The commisioners are adults they shouldn't have to worry about making the rules 150 pages so every little thing that isn't allowed is listed.
I don't think it's fair that Elijah loses 14-0, I also know for a fact Brandon has told me that I would lose 14-0 if I did the same thing after first pitch, and being that this is a league that now for me has monetary value due to my bet with Forbz, I don't know how comfortable I would be with blatant cheating in this league from someone who's been in here for six years and there being no punishment for it.
Taking away Cahills' stats is also not a correct punishment because then in future weeks if I'm playing someone less active I can just add a risky SP and if they don't perform well I'll have whoever I'm playing report me and I get to lose that players stats.

The statements that Elijag or Max co tinges to make in this chat are not adding up and he is making up false statements to cover his tracks. It is a shame if he gets away with this. He knows the rules. Now we need a league manager to enforce it White Sox GM (Michael), Tigers GM (Alex), Rangers GM (Bill),@psychward,

Unpopular opinion: Theres nothing that can be done. Max gave a valid excuse if he was lying or not. You can be mad at him and call him liar all you want, but I feel like the only thing that can be done is patch the hole and move on.

For Caleb's unpopular opinion, I hope it's so unpopular that it is the only unpopular opinion of that nature. I respect Caleb's opinion, but there is too much wrong here to sweep it under the rug.
A good precedent needs to be set here, and a 6-8 loss is a mere slap on the wrist, not the end of the world for Max's self-proclaimed Juggernaut of a team.

The Astros will forfeit "starting pitcher" categories (W, QS, Ks, ERA, WHIP) for his matchup against the Athletics. All other categories will be up for competition. Future offenders may be subject to an 0-14 loss, pick loss, or other penalty (undecided as of now). Thank you to everyone who personally gave your opinion or left it here, I took it all into consideration and I appreciate your continued cooperation.
For the record, the rule moving forward will be that you cannot make any roster moves after first pitch on Monday. The exceptions: -The week doesn't start on Monday (first week of season, ASB week) -The owner made a trade/waiver wire pickup/free agent signing -A player on your DL (2 slots max) is no longer injured; you can activate this player mid-week and drop a corresponding player -You had fewer than 25 rostered players before the week, so you are adding someone late (this rule may be subject to change, but this is fine for now). You obviously cannot, for example, start with 24 players, then add two players and drop one.

I think we need to elaborate on this rule. It does not quite hold true. It needs to be expanded for players going onto DL and then for players coming off.
Or I’ve just heard a few different versions of this rule

Cahill was activated off the DL so I put him on my active roster and dropped someone to do so

Yes, that will also correspond to players going on to the DL. The player must have been in one of your two DL spots in order to do this, though.
If you have more than 2 players on the DL for a while, you can rotate who occupies those spots each week (e.g. put whoever you expect to be activated in the next week in your DL slots). This helps us keep track of your roster moves. However, you may not make one of these DL switches mid-week (so treat DL transactions as you would normal 25-man members). If you trade/release a player on the DL, you may replace that player with another DL-eligible player on your 40-man, or leave it open in case of a 25-man injury during the same week.
Also, if a player comes off the DL in real life, you must activate this player in a timely manner, either by sending him off the 25-man (to the 40-man) or putting him on the 25-man. You may not, for example, keep the active player on your DL for weeks at a time, effectively as a 26th man that you can activate while dropping a player on your 25-man.
In short: -25-man transactions also apply to players going on the DL. If you have slots available, you may move a player to the DL and pick up one from your 40-man. However, if you have no slots available, you may not do this. -Treat DL members as if they are 25-man members regarding weekly transactions. -DL members must be activated in a timely manner once they are activated in real life. No stashing healthy players here.
