Astros GM (Max), Padres GM (Noah), and 1 more like this

1. Minnesota Twins:
Feels like Machado was worth every penny, leading Patty in nearly every offensive stat. He'll have to rely heavily on his league best bullpen and Clayton Kershaw to make it out of the AL Playoffs. I think he has a leg up on Max to get to the ALCS though, not the hottest team coming into the playoffs but played very well the final two weeks of the season coming in at Number 1 and 4 statistically, only one other team was better than that .
2. Houston Astros:
Max actually hasn't played Twins or White Sox since April, and his team is different than it was to say the least. Judge is seemingly on the mend, th way i see it, to beat this team, you'll have to hope for a bad week on his end combined with a strong week on yours. Once you get past Betts, Baez, Judge, Goldschmidt, E5, Gennett, Gordon, Arrieta, Bumgarner, and Corbin, there isn't much left. His pitching depth and HD's SP's could cause tons of problems for any team. Probably the favorite but I hope Patty beats him.
3. Pittsburgh Pirates:
No one can argue that the fully healthy Pirates are the favorites in the NL, and should arguably be n the 1 spot due to their path, but after taking a look, this team is coming in somewhat cold, and could be upended by a Padres or Cubs, just last week, Cubs played them to a tie, and Slaw barely lost more than one cat. Pirates are undeniably loaded with Verlander and Kluber and Co leading the way for the Pitching, along with Likely NL MVP Matt Carpenter and Nolan Arenado leading the way hitting. Despite his dominance in the NL throughout the season (1-1-1 vs AL Foes) PIT will have to pick up their game to get through the NL playoffs.
4. New York Mets:
I can hear the laughter now...and while the NL Least Rep is not as star powered as many others, there is also no hotter team in the league. In both week 20 and 21 the Mets we're second in the league statistically behind Astros once and Twins once. Many might scoff at my starting rotation and my lineup as well, but Zack Wheeler, Tanner Roark, Kevin Gausman, and Mike foltynewicz have been pitching as good as anyones best 4 in the last 2 months, Clay Buchholz has wound back the clock, The BP is strong, and the offense has shown the ability to hang in. The Mets are 0-5-1 against playoff teams with the lone tie coming against Astros. But this is the hottest team in ODC.
5. San Francisco Giants:
I'd say Paul is the NL's best hope to win the championship having recently knocked off Twins handily. Pauls biggest weakness is that he punts SB's and only has 4 SP's. Paul is lucky though. Scherzer is lined up to go twice in the NLDS, and would go 3 times in the finals, where Paul would just need to navigate that NLCS. this team is all in with plenty of guys hitting FA. Should be a good matchup, I plan on sending him home.
6. White Sox
Mike's solid, but he could really use a boost from Doolittle and Donaldson if he's to make a run. His steady offense and starting pitching should be enough to edge detroit, but not likely to beat astros unless something crazy happens. even then he'd have to beat both Astros and Twins in back to back weeks, tough draw for a good team here.
7. Orioles
Hard for Jeff to endure so many injuries throughout the season. even more challenging when his team is on autopilot while he's at summer camp playing on the seesaw. but with Votto hurt, it's hard not to discount orioles coming out of the very overrated AL East
T8. Cubs/Padres
One of these teams will have a chance to vs pirates, give me SD just because he can kill him with pitching, and will only need to steal a few on offense. Slaw has beaten better teams though, so could really go either way
10. Tigers:
Barely hung on to edge out Seattle and TB on the season's final week. Won't be long now.
