Drew Smyly?

Based on the Transactions thread from past ownership, the Padres obtained Drew Smyly in a trade from the Indians. See trade #25 in the following link: ondeckcircle.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=friars&action=display&thread=1297

I can't find any evidence that old ownership of the Padres later traded Smyly away.

Shouldn't Drew Smyly be part of my roster now?

On ESPN site, doing a search, he is a Free Agent.
