1. Bryce Harper at this point i dont think there is any debating he's not Mike trout BUUht he's not bad. Hes the youngest best most marketable hitter on the market someone is going to pay him LOTS of $ lets take a look at who that might be: nym tor phi sd all four teams have the means its debatable if they have the need but its freaking bryce harper....
Signing Harper is a splashy move and nobody likes the splashy move like Noah. SD 5 years 160m
Runner up Mets have a hard time believe defending champs wont toss a ton of $ at Harper
Dark Horse Rockies have a ton of $ and lots and lots of holes.

2. Nolan Arenando has played his entire career in coors field and will play atleast 1 more year there. He may be the best all around 3b in the league and that won't be cheap who has the means and the need to add this cornerstone:
sea phi pit all pit and sea have glaring holes at 3b and phi well he has $ but not necessarily the glaring need the other 2 do he could decide to upgrade either way he wont be cheap
HTD to the rescue! Pit has cleared $ in my mind to resign the franchise sooo PIT 5 YEARS 150M
Runner up Mariners nobody has the need at 3b the M's do well besides PIT
Dark Horse Phi like i said don't have glaring need but he would look nice and would free up a trade opportunity for PHI.

3. Max Scherzer this isnt the first time Mad Max or cyborg as i like to call him has been a free agent in ODC. Scherzer has been the 1a or 1b top starter in the league for the last handful of years and in 2018 he showed no signs of slowing down. He's a true ace who can and will pay him like one: tor nym phi col sd
Could go lots of directions here but my gut is telling me 1 of 2 teams the other will most likely get Kershaw
Prediction PHI 5 years 150m PHI has some nice mid rotation arms but no true ace MaD Max makes a ton of sense.

4 Clayton Kershaw like Scherzer this isnt kershaws 1st go round in odc free agency and remember the 1a 1b discussion? This is 1a or 1b that scherzer doesnt occupy. A long time dominant ACE which seems forever but unlike scherzer has shown cracks in performance/injury issues last couple years. Could easily put him 3rd another TRUE ace who will be in the hunt:

Cole finally reached his ceiling as a former #1 pick and in the AL which makes 2018 even more impressive. He's an Astro for atleast another year but hes proved he can do it in either league. 6 Justin Verlander 2018 was another stellar campaign for the timeless Verlander what else is there to say? He's no spring chicken anymore but still very effective. I feel for those who miss on the top 3 arms Verlander will be the consolation prize.
PREDICTION TOR 3 years 75m THIS is the move i see the Rebuildjays making. Its less of a financial commitment in terms of money and years and helps him compete sooner.
7 Patrick Corbin 2018 Was truly a breakout for Corbin and he got paid because of it signing a lucrative deal with the Washington Nationals. He's younger than Verlander but doesnt have half the track record. I wouldn't be shocked if he got more than Verlander.

8 Anthony Rendon for those who miss out on Nolanmania Rendon isnt a bad consolation prize he comparable in avg and he will even cross 20 hr threshold some years. Hes not a superstar but hes solid.

Runner up AZ Hemmons can bring Rendon back especially with HTD in his pocket has to make some moves but with frazier already under contract he may end up passing

10 Craig Kimbrel one the leagues most consistent in years and performance and considering how fast some flame out thats really saying something. Not sure he reaches Jansen,Chapman Melancon levels (of insanity) but he should get a nice contract. Anyone know where the arm thing came from?
