Hello All, For the 2020 season we will be voting on what type of season we will play due to Covid and the limited number of MLB games. Below are (3) options on what type of season we will play, we want to determine which option people think is the best, we can tweak each option (number of teams in playoffs) after an option is selected. Option 1:We play a 5 week regular season H2H matchups, play your division and (1) inter-league matchup. Playoffs are a 16 team tournament style, top 16 teams make the playoffs, seeding based on record. Draft: We take the teams that finished 11-30 and assign draft picks as usual. Option 2:We play an 8 week roto season with a 1 week H2H World Series matchup. Draft: We take the teams that finished 11-30 and assign draft picks as usual. Option 3:We play a 5 week roto season with a 4 week H2H playoffs. Playoffs are a 12 team tournament style, top 12 teams make the playoffs, seeding based on record. Draft: We take the teams that finished 11-30 and assign draft picks as usual. ***If the MLB season ends before week 7 in either option, no champion will be crowned. ***We’ll go by league minimums for scale players, regardless if the season is cancelled after they are triggered. ***Option 2: if MLB cancels the season after week 6 we crown the 1st place team champion. I support a roto vision for this season. Hard to see the sense behind a 5 week H2H season.

I agree with Brandon, feels a fair compromise.

I voted for 1 because I don't see a need to completely change the foundation of the league with camps starting back up. Should've had this talk weeks to months ago if we were going to change it up this much. Gives no time for strategy changing.

To be fair, it wasn't a guarantee that their would actually be a MLB season this year. Plus the negotiation of the number of games that would be played was constantly changing.

Vote for which you prefer (5 week H2H, 8 week roto, 5 week roto), then the details like # of playoff teams, draft ordering, etc. will be tweaked afterward. It's important to determine the major structure of this season before focusing on details.
e.g. if you like option 3 but with 8 teams or 16 teams in the playoffs, vote option 3. It most accurately reflects the season you'd like to see played.

How would your roster differ between roto and H2H?
