This will be a thread for rule changes going forward, beyond this nightmarish 2020 season. We will post announcement of new rules ranging from draft order, to picks, to FA etc on here. These new rules will then be updated on the original Rules post.
First up, comp picks. There will be comp picks for each year moving forward. Rules are the same as previous (same threshold), but comp picks will now only be allowed for players who were owned at the start of the season. Type A:Ranked 1-15 SP in the previous season Ranked 1-30 Batter in the previous season Type B:Ranked 16-45 SP in the previous season Ranked 31-75 Batter in the previous season Ranked 1-15 RP in the previous season If the player is not resigned by his former team and is a Type A or Type B free agent, appropriate compensation is awarded to the player's former team. Teams that lose Type A free agents are compensated with a pick following the first round of the following year's amateur draft. Teams that lose Type B free agents are compensated with a pick following the second round of the following year's amateur draft. The draft order of the compensation rounds is ordered according to their ranking in the Player Rater
These compensation picks may be traded at any time after the player is signed. In order to earn compensation, the team must own the player at the beginning of the regular season.

For the 2022 season (and draft), the official draft order will be decided by team record, the worst team will get the 1st pick in the draft, going worst to best.
