Playoffs are underway, congrats to the NYY, LAA, PHI, SDP for advancing to the semi-finals, good luck to everyone.
COVID IL - If a game is cancelled due to Covid, you can replace any player on either team with a player from your 40 man roster, for that game. If a series is cancelled, you can keep that player on for each game that is cancelled.

Day 1 Recap of the World SeriesLos Angeles Angels 9 Philadelphia Phillies 5
The Angels got off to a hot start on offense putting up 5 runs and 4 RBI in the first day. Philly is keeping up with Stolen Bases and is still close in RBI and Runs. Philly is off to a good pitching start already recording a Quality Start, Win and Hold but is trailing Strikeouts by half. The Phillies have three starters going today, Keegan Akin, Sonny Gray and Caleb Smith, all favorable matchups. After today Kory is still left with seven more starts that equals John's seven so today is a big day for Kory's pitching. Injury ReportLAA - Michael Conforto is battling a hamstring injury and wasn't in the lineup last night. LAA - Yoan Moncada is still battling lingering health issues with his bout of Covid. LAA - This will be Sonny Gray's first start from returning from the IL with a back injury. LAA - Rafale Dolis is day to day with a right knee injury after slipping on first base. PHI - Ronald Guzman is also battling a hamstring and was out of the lineup yesterday but his presence isn't missed nearly as much as Conforto. Made up Probability of Who Will Win: LAA 61%

Day 2 Recap of the World Series Los Angeles Angels 8.5 Philadelphia Phillies 5.5 John has pulled ahead offensively with a huge day offensively to take an early lead. Muncy, JRam, Soto and Grossman all homered on Tuesday and had a combined 9 RBI's. Kory has an early pitching lead but with John having more starters going this week we could see him fight his way back. Only John has a starter going today (Max Fried vs Miami) so it'll be interesting to see if Kory can makeup some ground today offensively. Made up Probability of Who Will Win: LAA 68%

Day 3 Recap of the World Series Los Angeles Angels 8 Philadelphia Phillies 6 Kory had a huge day offensively with Harper hitting 2 HR's, Rosario and Lowe also hitting HR's and his team putting up 10 Runs and 7 RBI's. His only misstep was not starting Randy Arozarena (which I can't blame him) who belted 2 HR's from his bench. John kept up with Kory's HR's by adding 2 to his lead and putting up 2 Saves. Made up probability of who will win: LAA 53%

Day 4 Recap of the World Series Los Angeles Angels 7.5 Philadelphia Phillies 6.5 John has a slight lead on offense but Kory is still easily within striking distance, he only needs to take a few more offensive categories to win the championship. Kory has a comfortable lead on a few pitching categories and if he's able to hold off John on pitching while Seager, Rosario and Lowe's hot streaks continue, he'll be the new champ. John has three pitchers going today (Carrasco, Flaherty and Lindblom) and can easily makeup ground on the pitching categories with a few good starts. With three full days left of the season, we'll see who has the lasting power to take the crown. Made up probability of who will win: LAA 57%

Last day of the World series, let see how this will end. Los Angeles Angels 8.5 Philadelphia Phillies 5.5 The offensive matchup is still really close, only SB being the clear runaway. Both teams are putting up very good offensive numbers for the week. Pitching is also pretty close, only ERA appears to be the current big lead. One good bullpen day for Kory could swing the pitching categories in his favor. Philly has three pitchers going today (Keegan Akin, Marco Gonzalez and Sonny Gray) so he can easily add on more stats to increase his lead on ERA, WHIP and Wins and could easily take over K's and QS. This week is really coming down to today's game. Made up probability of who will win: LAA 51%

Congrats to the Los Angeles Angels for winning the 2020 ODC World Series. Lets take a look how the last day played out. A great finish to the World Series, Kory's team just couldn't get the RBI, QS or Hold to secure a championship. With three starters going for him on Sunday, Sonny Gray and Marco Gonzalez couldn't go 1 more inning to get Kory the QS he so desperately needed. Will Smith came in the game to work 1 inning and strikeout 2 but it was a non hold situation, which again cost Kory that category. Kory's offense started off well but came to a cold end on Sunday with his his offense going 2/30 with only 1 RBI and him losing 6/7 offensive categories. John's offense carried his team to the earn their first World Series in franchise history. John took over the LAA in 2017 where he began a full rebuild with the franchise. John made some great trades which netted him Juan Soto ( trade here), Jose Ramirez ( trade here), Max Muncy ( trade here), Rhys Hoskins ( trade here) and Michael Conforto ( trade here). He signed some super stars in Mookie Betts, Justin Verlander and Aroldis Chapman to anchor his team for his championship run. John's team is well built and besides some minor payroll challenges in 2021, there is no reason he can't put together another solid run at a World Series. Congrats again to Kory for putting up a great fight and to John for making this 2020 Covid season enjoyable. Time to start preparing for 2021.
