Power Rankings on week 17

American League Power Rankings

Number 1 Tigers- Of all the rosters this one is the most complete it has every tool youngsters and most importantly i feel like the most guys on the upswing right now with the exception Ricky Romero i didnt see many guys who are slumping or really underacheving.

Number 2 Red Sox- The red sox benefitted from there match-up this week a little bit looking at the yankees you see alot of big time question marks on both offense and defense and although some could argue with the red sox they have a few i think diffrently im a big believer in Matt Wieters so that didnt hurt them to me and i felt they had a nice combination of everything along with a underperforming opponent.

Number 3 Rangers- I love this pick and i think they might have the best match-up of anyone i almost made them #1 but i just couldnt very very very close though also there opponent helped alot the white sox have to many guys on the DL for me to take them serious as a match-up.

Number 4 Angels- This one was another tough one for me but after some thought i had to do it theres alot of guys on this roster that i see on the upswing when i see guys getting hot or in a good situation i tend to believe the talent is there and that makes them play even better and thats the case for a number of players even though there opponet is number 1 i do feel they can compete.

Number 5 Indians- Again this team a good number of hot players or 2nd Half Stars i call them lol there also playing the twins so that helps.

Number 6 Royals- I like this pick i dont love this pick they have alot of guys on the downswing or slumping and that could pose big problems even beyond this matchup and there playing the orioles who while ranked lower are a decent match.

Number 7 yankees-theres alot of question marks on this team to me alot of guys who arent playing very well or like they should be alot of question marks in the rotation it just wasnt a good week to play the red sox with that roster.

Number 8 Orioles- this might have to do with a personal thing with a couple guys on the squad but while being solid tend to be up and down and you cant cound on them week in and week out and the royals are the same but i trust more of there players then these.

Number 9 White Sox-To many people on DL plain and simple .

Number 10 A's- theres not a whole bunch here so although there playing the jays i think this team is absolutely awful.

Number 11 Twins- This one has alot to do with the fact that theres alot of open slots on his and the ones filled are so so at best middlebrooks is nice theres a few others but the whole team isnt there so you can count that.

Number 12 Jays - again one of those streaky teams and this one might be the worst at it perealta and people of that nature really hurt this squads rank even though hes been better lately.

Number 13 Rays- I think this one and and 14 speak for themselves haha.
