Power Rankings are based on MLB only and do not account for any players listed under MiLB, so Justin will bitch but he can use his imagination.
Colorado Rockies- Overall: D Offense: D Rotation: D Bullpen: D
Colorado's current regime (is "Fill" here to stay?) actually has some decent pieces in Springer, Kyle Lewis, and a couple front end SPs on bad teams. But this is not a competitive MLB roster.
San Francisco Giants- Overall: C+ Offense: C Rotation: B- Bullpen: C
Buck has a mostly capable MLB roster but no depth to speak of. He can teeter around .500 with productive seasons out of Abreu, Keuchel & Kimbrel.
Arizona Diamondbacks- Overall: B- Offense: B Rotation: B+ Bullpen: C-
Overall this is a solid group, but not elite. Rizzo and a strong outfield carry the offense, while the geriatric pitchers do their thing (Kershaw, Greinke, Andrew Miller). Hemmons-led teams will always compete but he just holds on to guys for too damn long (Homer Bailey, McHugh, and King Felix are among the dusty relics).
Los Angeles Dodgers- Overall: B+ Offense: B+ Rotation: B+ Bullpen: B+
Jake has put together a good squad, with depth and stability all around. Though the IF bats are way more reliable than the OF bats; how he does might depend on how guys like Benintendi, Dahl & Haniger can bounce back, but this is a playoff team either way.
San Diego Padres- Overall: B+ Offense: B+ Rotation: B+ Bullpen: B+
Close call between Noah and Jake- IT'S A DRAW! Initially I had Noah pegged as the favorite, but trying to find a reason to slot him ahead of Jake, I can't. Noah has a slight edge in the SP and OF department, but this could end up a dead heat of a divisional battle.
