I think this is a good deal for both sides and I don't really buy into Candelario's breakout, but this gives me some cheap / long term roster flexibility and to me for this year, Darvish and Stroman are a wash. Maybe this deal backfires for me, but I have $100mm pre-arbitration on the books for next year so need to start cutting down.
