The Minnesota Twins Baseball Club agree to trade Nathan Eovaldi .3M (1) to the St. Louis Cardinals for 3M towards Brett Myers 2012 contract (7M becomes 4M) and prospect Cody Stanley.
We are making this move in order acquire additional resources to obtain elite free agents in the 2012 off-season. Getting a quality young catching prospect is an excellent additional. Catcher is a tough position to develop, but our farm system is excited for the challenge.
