Hou gets Denard Span & 4 mill of Juan Uribes 12' contract paid
Stl gets Luker Gregerson & Hou's 12' 2nd rd Draft pick.

I accept for my first trade here. Although losing Gregerson does hurt, I am able to fill a vacancy because Damon will not have OF eligibility next year. And I like Span. Plus I needed some of Uribe's contract to be paid, because it is a terrible contract.

all options become team options even if MLB team in real life doesnt pick it up. so if the option was stated in his contract then yes he should be able to remain on your roster

But on valverde if you wish to let him go is Type A FA so you'd get a 1st round pick
