Mike Trout - $.5M (2)
Phillies Get:
John Danks - $1M (6)
Nelson Cruz - Free (4)
Ben Revere - $.5M (2)
Manny Machado (spect)
Wow this was hard.... Accept. Hate trading away Cruz and Machado but I'm going all in next year and I gain 2 aces to shore up my rotation which i believe is now one of the best in the league. Trout's gonna be a star and I have the depth/cap to replace Cruz/Revere in my lineup. Cruz's injuries scare me as well.

I accept. It was tough, i hate giving up a young promising stud in Trout, along with 2 good SP's, but i really like what i get back. I get a solid SP in return in Danks, i get a pretty damn good hitter in Cruz (which im kind of lacking in the power department), and a guy in Revere who in his rookie year had 34 SB's. I don't really need to explain Machado either, he is a top 5-10 prospect in all of baseball, and is gonna be a stud. I'm still trying to contend for this year, but i want to have security and a good farm system to go with that. I don't just want to trade all my young guys to win this year, i want to make sure my squad has potential for years to come.

Wow, this league approves everything lol. I'm going to veto and here's why: Danks was absolutely awful this year, and it doesn't look like he'll become the pitcher I thought that he would. Cruz gets hurt every other day, and can't stay on the field for more than a month at a time. With a contending team like the Phillies, that makes no sense to add this guy on their team. Revere is young and solid, but he can't equal the potential that Trout has, and he's probably just a throw in, seeing how his real only value is stolen bases. Machado is a downgrade from Trout as well, so that makes absolutely no sense. Terrible move by the phillies, and i hate to see this trade get approved.
