I did this trade because first off I can't afford Berkman's ego turning this team against me and 2nd I finally get that closer ive been looking for plus a spect I like. The pick were not special since I have so many prospects picks aren't that appealing anymore. The salary is the best 5.525 million ive ever spent to get rid of Berkman

Berkman is a veteran bat that I really needed in my lineup. Hopefully he'll get time at first base so I can slot him at first or in right. I take from a strength and add to a weakness. Plus, I shed a million in cap.
