Tigers Get: Jason Kipnis - $.3M (1) Dominic Brown - $.5M (2) Brad Hawpe - Free in 2012
Phillies Get: Shaun Marcum - $1.2M (6) Nick Hundley - $1M (5) Leo Nunez - $1.5M (6)
I accept. Get some solid, young guys that I like a lot in Brown and Kipnis.

Accept. as hard as it is to see brown and kipnis go, I've been reading way more negatives on brown than positives even if I am a phillies fan, I think I understand his true value. And although kipnis could be a future good 2B, i have phillips already and dont see kipnis being a perennial all-star. As far as my side of the trade, I really like the guys I get in return. After having my CC trade vetoed, I had to pounce on the opportunity to get a good SP. Catcher was a big need for me as well, and I see Hundley being a solid C for years to come. As far as Nunez goes, while it is a big risk, when I considered that all I had to do was give brad hawpe to acquire him, it was worth the try. hopefully marcum isnt a FA next season and these guys can get long term deals.

Approve. I dont think Brown is the stud he was supposed to be but will be decent, also still wont start full time in the outfield but I think the Tigers wins the deal with Kipnis and dealing Marcum who is gone after this season.

Well I'm happy about this year. I think Tigers wins long-term but Phillies has better talent for this team.
Both of these teams are guys to watch out for. Good deal guys. Approve.
