SP: Clay Buchholz $3.5 (5)
SP: Madison Bumgarner (3) 1M

My first move as Phillies GM, I accepted this trade for a few reasons. First off, I don't mind shedding Kyle Lohse although he is a good ballplayer. Revere is an excellent prospect and low-end 2nd rounders aren't too shabby either, but picks are unproven. Bucholtz and Bumgarner are not only young rising stars, but this trade also greatly solidifies my rotation. And I shed cap in the process.

I accept. I am a rebuilding team, and I want more picks. Also, I am a huge Revere fan and the picks can help em rebuild.

Veto. Although Padres reason for the trade makes sense, he is not getting nearly enough for two young SP that are affordable and could very well be the building blocks a rebuilding team would love to have. Phils is getting two really good pitchers and shedding cap. Definitely a no-go for me

Veto, why trade an ace-#2 pitcher who's around 23 and a pitcher who showed the tools of an ace a year ago, for a speedy OF, an aging SP who was mediocre before last year and is 11.9M and a pair of decent picks for two top of the rotation pitchers in their 20's? If you are rebuilding why would you go after Lohse?

Hate to do this, but it's a veto from me.

A rebuilding team should not be trading away two budding, young pitchers at this price. I don't see how Lohse can help Padres at all. Revere will get SBs but his other stats aren't overwhelming.

I'm not going to let another team be dismantled.
