Inside sources have heard whispers of a change of strategy in Chicago. Chicago is reported to be open to moving high end prospects for legit MLB talent if enough interest is received. The chances appear to be slight that this actually happens, but if the Cubs GM were to receive enough offers to his liking, and that will yield a competitive team, management may be able to pull the trigger.

Follow up story reports that SS Jurickson Profar could be shipped if an enticing package is offered. The cubs are rumored to be looking for a young catcher.

The Cubs GM has officially denied this report, stating that offers such as AJ Ellis for Jurickson Profar are and I quote Stephen A Smith "Blasphemous" and also said the Nationals GM should be banned from the city of Chicago.
