The Seattle Mariners have had the worst record in 2011 and 2012 having averaged just 64 wins. They did not make the post season either year under Pat Doran and Alek. Neither gm really made any good trades to help them team for the future.

The Seattle Mariners have had trouble in the past to find a good enough gm to turn this losing streak around. They have asked Bryan Webb several times to quit the Washington Nationals job and work for them. So finally this offseason on 10/14/12 Bryan Webb decided to switch teams.

Bryans best 3 players are Paul Maholm,Kyle Crick and 2014 1st Round Pick. Not having much to work with but Bryan is back and saying he will win the division of the AL West. He said he won't guarantee the World Series title just yet but the AL West is as good as his.

Well it has been awhile since we have reported news about the Seattle Mariners they have been rumored to land Joey Votto and a deal still is in promise but it has begun to quiet down from what are sources are told. With Free Agency starting in 5 days Seattle is mainly looking for a Ace,OF,CP,and a realiable Catcher. They are rumored to be landing free agent OF Josh Hamilton,Hunter Pence and Delmon Young if they do so this will probably leave with them around 8 million dollars to sign a okay starter or 5 relivers.

Many critics are questioning the new gm style of managing this team for the 2013 season. We shall see when Free Agency is over if Webb can silence the critics or if it will be another Washington Nationals season.

With Free Agency already started it looks like the Seattle Mariners will be adding Josh Hamilton,Raul Ibanez, and Melky Cabrera. This would complete there OF and would make there really good. The bids are not a done deal yet but it does not look like anyone will outbid the Mariners.
