I have been thinking that the league needs a two day break to get some of the 'paper work' type things done before free agency starts. Before shutdown, all rosters must be updated for 2012 season and all 2012 Free Agents eliminated from roster and double-checked with the list posted previously. During that stoppage, we could go through all rosters for contracts (this is done by Divisional LMs) and work on master list of all players. Also, the transaction log could be completed and any other projects I can't think of at this time could be worked on and finished. Ideas on prospect numbers and other league rules being discussed should be decided by this deadline.
I was thinking the 2012 rosters could be due by 5pm on Friday, December 2nd. League would reopen for trades at 12:01am, Monday, December 5th. Dates and times are just ideas, just like the premise of this post. Let me know what you all think, thanks
