Rumor is the Pittsburgh Pirates are looking to make a splash at this year's Winter Meetings. When asked about the rumor Pirates GM AJ Preller said this: "Id be lying to say we weren't looking to make a splash, to add a impact player but most importantly we are looking to get better like always. We have a few specific areas we are really focusing on to improve either by trade or free agency but I am not going to get into specifics here."
