Reports are swirling around the league that Clayton Kershaw will leave the Atlanta Braves in a blockbuster trade in the coming days. Teams rumored to be involved with Kershaw are the Angels, Blue Jays, and Marlins among others. Kershaw is in the last year of his contract and no major talks of extension have been reported to be going on between Kershaw and the Braves.
No team has yet to reach an agreement with the Braves and this story will continued to be monitored in the coming days. The Atlanta Braves were not available for comment at this time.

According to the Chicago Sun-Times, the White Sox are unlikely to make a big push for Kershaw.
"We felt as though we couldn't give up so much for one pitcher," said GM Terilli when asked about the former Cy Young recipient.
The Sox are reportedly interested in adding pitching depth.

According to the Boston Globe the Red Sox have been hot for Kershaw for awhile
GM Bill Lee had this to say "Well we all know Fingaz is a wild one. He'll wake up 1 morning and say Bill let's smoke a jibber and trade for some hotshit MLB guys.So when he mentioned that Kershaw was something he would consider I informed him I'd do all I could."
Apparently the Red Sox are confident in a extension and are trying to pull together some big splashes to get the ship off the ground. Also when asked about what other moves the Spaceman and Fingaz were pondering Owner and Eccentric Playboy Jimmy Fingaz had this to say:
"We've been looking at alot of veterans mainly the names Alex Gordon, Pedro Alvarez and Trevor Cahill have been brought up but also Drew Stubbs and Justin Smoak are all guys we've been deciding if we want to have a discussion about."
We here at the globe believe that the Sox have something huge underway and will report as soon as we have something too.

BREAKING NEWS: The Houston Colt .45s are making a late push on Clayton Kershaw.
SPIN Well, they need an ace. It looks unlikely they'll get Zack Greinke in FA as they are pushing hard for Carlos Beltran and Shane Victorino. It is unclear what the .45s would be giving up, but it's likely a package would start with star CF Jacoby Ellsbury.
