These are my predicitions as of right now for the 2013 ODC Season. These predicitions will change over the course of the offseason but as of right now this is how I see the league standings.
[shadow=white,left,300]American League[/shadow]
AL East:
1st: Tampa Bay Rays
2nd: Baltimore Orioles
3rd: New York Yankees
4th: Boston Red Sox
5th: Toronto Blue Jays
As of right now the Rays are the favorites to win the AL East and now that Orioles cant buy anything they look like they will fall short again and finish just at .500. The Yankees 2012 Champions most likely won't even make the playoffs unless there gm Woody shows up. Red Sox and Jays won't be doing anything this year but watch out in 2014 with Red Sox.
AL Central:
1st: Detroit Tigers
2nd: Kansas City Royals
3rd: Chicago White Sox
4th: Cleveland Indians
5th: Minnesota Twins
This division probably has 3 top 5 teams in there division. Without question the toughest division espcially with Royals making a big splash thru trades this offseason. Tigers have improved their team a little bit and White Sox needs to work on there rotation but still should get the 2nd wildcard spot.
AL West:
1st: Los Angeles Angels
2nd: Texas Rangers
3rd: Seattle Mariners
4th: Oakland A's
As of right now the Angels are the favorites to win the west but still needs to get under. Rangers team is pretty much done may make 2-3 trades before the season starts and sign 1 FA but there team is ready for the 2013 season and may fall short to Angels. Mariners still with 25+ mil to spend in FA we will have to wait till the next power rankings to see where they are ranked. A's are a team that has a full team but nothing that stands out could have a Yankees type season but doubtful.
[glow=white,2,300]National League[/glow]
NL East:
1st: New York Mets
2nd: Miami Marlins
3rd: Washington Nationals
4th: Philadelphia Phillies
5th: Atlanta Braves
New York Mets one of the best all around teams great young infield and nice rotation. Marlins really revamped there farm by trading away Braun and Upton their team is still very good and should cruise into the playoffs. Nationals are not far from being a favorite in this division the gm could go out and spend money or make a trade to make this team very good. Phillies should finish 10 games out of the wildcard spot.
NL Central:
1st: St. Louis Cardinals
2nd: Houston Astros
3rd: Cincinnati Reds
4th: Chicago Cubs
5th: Milwaukee Brewers
6th: Pittsburgh Pirates
Cardinals previous NL Pennant Champs should easily win the Central by 10-15 games if not more. Astros signing a lot of guys for 5 years and there team is not that bad could make the playoffs as a wildcard team. Reds are a team that could either make the playoffs or just miss out by 5 games or less should be fun to watch. The other 3 teams should not do a whole lot Cubs pay finish a little bit under .500 but not contend for a wildcard spot.
NL West:
1st: Arizona Diamondbacks
2nd: Los Angeles Dodgers:
3rd: San Francisco Giants
4th: Colorado Rockies
5th: San Diego Padres
Without a doubt the worst division you could take just about any team in any other division and they would probably be the favorite to win this division. Diamondbacks,Giants and Dodgers all 3 could win this NL West Title.
