Can we incorporate this into out league. It's the thing they have in the NBA u can drop any player and their $$ don't count toward ur payroll, however u can only use it once.

It'd be too hard to keep track of. Besides, you can get other guys to pay for bad contracts.

You need to be responsible for your bad contracts. Can't just have teams give players huge contracts and then amnesty them.

i say no because basically i cud sign an old player for 100 over 5 but amnesty him after year 1

I like marlins idea. Only brand new gms can drop 1 player into FA. We have a few guys making over 40 mil, right.
Just because they can they don't have too. Maybe give them up to 3 days or something to decide.
