After Much Wait and Debate....It gives me great joy to say this following line....
I also picked slightly early due to me having school earlier then I thought but what's 2 hours anyways.
With the 1st Overall Pick of the 2013 ODC Rule 4 Amateur Draft the Boston Red Sox Select-
Clint Frazier OF Loganville HS (GA)
I think I'm getting the absolute most dynamic player in the draft. His power and bat speed are truly one of a kind and some of the best possibly ever seen. Scouts have referred to scouting him as being on par with watching a college hitter. He had some of the best HR #s in high school baseball in recent memory in a relatively solid district and state in Georgia. His speed is outstanding he has a plus arm from the OF and despite concerns about his size and projection I believe he has a strong shot at staying in CF unless the organization is trying to put him in a corner to save his health and maximize the bat. He's also the stereotypical baseball rat which I believe bodes well for his success. It gives me great joy to add such a talent to my organization.

With the 2nd Overall Pick of the 2013 ODC Rule 4 Amateur Draft the Boston Red Sox Select-
Kris Bryant 3B San Diego Toreros (CA)
One of the better college power bats in recent memory. I believe he slugged 31 HR in the current baseball game which is outrageous if you consider the pre-BBCOR days. Has true 80 power which is quite possibly the rarest tool in scouting very few guys have true 80. He also has 1 of the better eyes at the plate for such a slugger. I believe I'm looking at the true #3 hitter of my lineup in the future and he should be there in no time at all.

With the 3rd Overall Pick of the 2013 ODC Rule 4 Amateur Draft the Boston Red Sox Select-
Austin Meadows OF Grayson HS (GA)
Much like Clint Frazier his cross town rival and best friend, Meadows combination of raw power and speed are a highly coveted thing at the MLB level. He has true 30/30 potential and it's scary to think where his potential could take him. I hope in the future an OF manned by both these great talents in Frazier and Meadows can be a reality for my team. I am very happy with my selections and due to the quality of my SP depth in the minors I felt perfectly fine with going after what I feel are the 2 highest upsides in the draft in Meadows and Frazier.
Chicago Cubs are OTC with the 4th Overall Pick...

The Boston Red Sox Select with the 5th Overall Pick of the 2013 ODC Rule 4 Amateur Draft Select
Kohl Stewart SP St. Pius X (TX)
With a plus fastball that gets easy velocity and a slider that makes the best hitters look foolish. It's fair to say that Stewart is the best High School arm in the draft this year. As he has already announced that Texas A&M is no longer on the table I'm quite comfortable taking him here after passing on Gray. I believe Stewart has the ability with his already 2 plus pitches and a very intriguing changeup to join the ranks of Bundy and Fernandez and company in my system and Big League Club.

The Boston Red Sox with the 6th Overall Pick of the 2013 ODC Rule 4 Amateur Draft Select
Reese McGuire C Kentwood HS (WA)
One of the better defensive catchers to come out of high school recently and he has a lot of power from the left hand side and a solid bat in general. I think instantly he comes in as the 2nd best C in the minors just due to the fact he has a better chance then the rest to stay at the position with compareable offensive production. Love this pick for my Organization as well as this is sort of a weak spot in the minors for me.

With the 8th Overall Pick of the 2013 ODC Amateur Draftt the Boston Red Sox Select-
D.J. Peterson 3B/1B New Mexico Lobos (NM)
I personally think I'm selecting the best pure hitter in the college ranks. He also has at the very least above average power if not plus with 25 2B and 18HR at New Mexico this year. Combine that with his 418 AVG and you have the makings of a very solid hitter. Him moving to 1B is practically desired in my organization and he should be moving quickly.
