Welcome to the On-Deck Circle!
People looking to join our league are asked to create a thread in this board. This should include a short introduction of yourself. Let us know how long you have been playing fantasy baseball, as well as whether you have had any experience with Proboards. If someone referred you to the league, please include that as well.
Our league consists of more than just setting your lineup every day. We run year-round, just as real MLB franchises do. Therefore, we ask that you stay committed should you join the league. Trust us, if you put in time, it will be a lot of fun!
We will typically respond to you promptly after you create a thread. However, in the case that you aren't here when a team is chosen for you, please leave an email or a Chatango username so that we can contact you quickly. In the meantime, you are welcome to chat and ask questions to our league members.

Well.... Mu name is Carter Brandt, im from southern Wyoming, 1st year of ESPN fantasy, i think im entering 14 on yahoo
I like to believe i know what im doing with 7 yahoo championships under my belt.
Not much of a talker, short and sweet and to the point but if we get talking baseball ill ramble for hours!

My name is Jeremy, and I'm from the Phoenix, AZ area. I've been playing fantasy sports for about 15 years, and recently joined your Slapshot Central hockey league.
I have numerous fantasy championships under my belt, and am active all year long. Making offseason moves and taking some risks is one of my favorite parts of the whole game.

Hey guys - Tom here. 30 years old and I'm from Philadelphia PA and have been playing fantasy baseball for quite some time now; very familiar with proboards as well. Just checking in to see if there are any openings or a waiting list. League looks awesome and i'm very interested in possibly becoming a part of it.

Hey guys niko here. I'm 26 and a professional soccer coach.
I'm very big into sports and have been doing dynasty leagues for the past 8 years. I recently left my dynasty league after 7 years as the league became inactive and was infiltrated by inactive gms.

Hey guys, Jacob here. Been in this league before, can't remember what team though, its been a while. I think I quit due to personal reasons but I have since found a desire to get back in an active league. I've been a fantasy baseball player for probably 6 years, and am ready to get into another 30 teamer.

If you still have an opening we might be interested. Need to read the rules and check out the available club. One problem for us is we are in 4 leagues already and would likely need to drop one to take on another franchise; don't like to be spread to thin -- not good for either the league or for us.
Which club needs a replacement owner? Can we check out its team page?

Hello everyone. I'm sure a lot of you know me from other leagues. I'm in MLBC and Blitz Central. Only a couple things I want to say. I'm 19 years old, in college, and have a job working 30 hours a week. Sometimes time is hard to come by. The one promise I can make is my lineups will ALWAYS be set. One I can NOT make is chat everyday. I will let you guys decide on that I know and have heard this is a great league from others in MLBC. I would love to get in and i'm pretty good on chat it's just not something I can promise or guarantee. Also Sanders showed me this league and told me the Twins were open.

Hi, my name is Matt and some of you know me from the Baseknock league on proboards. I play several fantasy baseball leagues and spend way too much time (according to my fiancee) looking at my phone or at the computer checking stats and how my teams are doing. This year I was nominated by other owners to join the league staff over there and am enjoying the responsibilities that come with that. Hello. I forget how these things work and that boards are made for people who wanna join. Last Wednesday I recieved an email from Bryan Webb about an opening in your league. My name is Charlie Tubbs and I would like to join your league if a team is open (I will not now or ever accept ownership of the St. Louis Cardinals). I have been playing baseball since 1996 when Hideo Nomo and Chuck Knoblauch would go in the first round of drafts. I've been a member of 4, 30 team dynasty leagues and a 2 additional leagues that didn't quite have 30 teams. Unfortunately most of the leagues folded after only a season and one folded mid season. I am a longtime Pirates fan. I currently commish a fbbl that's going into its 6th season on yahoo. I am also proud to say I orchestrated a trade that sent Carl Crawford and another player in exchange for Zach Grienke and Time Lincecum. That trade was enough to disband the the yahoo league I was commishing because ATT nobody knew who Lincecum and Grienke were and Crawford was a top 5 fantasy player.
