Hi, my name is Sean and I'm from New Jersey. I started playing fantasy baseball this past year, but have played football/basketball/hockey for 15 years. I joined an ESPN keeper league which started in March and a ProBoards dynasty league in July which is 11 years old. The ESPN league is also H2H 7x7, but is a simple roster format. I dominated the regular season, and am currently in the midst of a heated semifinal battle. The ProBoards league is extremely similar to this league besides being Roto scoring. It is also 30 teams, has similar roster size, arb scale, FA bidding, and even deeper minor league systems (every player is owned by some team). It doesn't have IFA, amateur draft, or amnesty clauses, but those things are what draw me to this league especially. I pride myself on being extremely active in trade talks, having a deep prospect knowledge, and being able to find value in both drafts and trades. I have not yet experienced FA bidding, but I am excited to test myself in that capacity (in my other ProBoards league and hopefully this one). I am used to the scoring system, the roster rules, ESPN fantasy, and ProBoards, so it won't take a learning curve for me to be able to participate in this league. I would just need to learn the fine details of the rules, and figure out how players/prospects are valued by the other owners.
I guess I've said enough, so hopefully I can join this league and be able to prepare for what will be a fun offseason. I think I would really enjoy this league because it combines the things I like about my 2 current leagues.
Anyway, thanks for the consideration,
Sean.
