I say if a trade brings you above the cap, it cant bring you more than 5M over the cap.
Also, our rule about putting players in the minors is vague. The rule should be fixed to say a player who is not considered a prospect should not be allowed in the minors unless their respective MLB team sends them down. We can discuss the contract situation about whether you must pay it or not BUT you must pull him up when the MLB team does.
I know this is long and hopefully not too confusing.

i disgree with going over the cap, whats the point of having one if you can go over.
i agree with the minor league change though

i disagree with the second. what if i have 25 players and a mediocre prospect is called up?

George is right here. I think Marlins just phrased it wrong. It should read, "Only when a prospect is called up by an MLB team, you can call that prospect up."

You can call up who you want when you want. It is the sending down players that i dont like.

I think sending guys down to the minors is fine as long as you still need to pay their salary. I don't get why that's a problem?
