In updating rosters to reflect players drafted in the ODC Amateur draft I've come upon a couple of players that do not appear to have been drafted by an MLB team in 2015 which would make them ineligible to be drafted in our league. If you've drafted one of these guys and can show me where they went in the draft it would be very helpful:
So far:
Brandt Stallings - Selected in Round 4 by the Cubs Kyler Murray - Selected in Round 4 by the Cubs John Aiello - Selected in Round 4 by the Royals Stephen Kolek - Selected in Round 5 by the Diamondbacks Ryan Johnson - Selected in Round 5 by the Diamondbacks Ryan Karstetter - Selcted in Round 6 by the Royals Joe DeMers - Selected in Round 6 by the Diamondbacks Doak Dozier - Selected in Round 6 by the Diamondbacks O'Neal Lochridge - Selected in Round 7 by the Diamondbacks
I'll add to this list as I come across others.
Thanks.

I'm allowing these players to be drafted, but only for this year - it's going to have to change before next year's draft.

It would have been nice if all of us had the advantage of maximizing late round picks by skimming from future drafts. Suddenly these picks are much more valuable and next year's less valuable.
This is a load of bullshit, circumventing the rules without letting the entire league know that a loophole has been created so that a few teams gain an advantage. Pretty lame as far as I'm concerned.

I agree. This just goes to show that Psych is a weasel.

Bringing this back up because it's insanely stupid and needs to be changed.

Those are two separate issues but ok.
One is about drafting completely undrafted guys. The other is about drafting unsigned guys who were drafted.

Why is draft being moved. Last year there seemed to be a loophole. This year it should be the same time. If you're drafted in 2017, you're eligible. That's all.

One way of circumventing an owner of trying to sneak a prospect into the draft is to simply have a master listing of all signed and eligible prospects. As a prospect is drafted in our league you simply remove that prospect from the listing.

Whatever happened to the draft being moved to after the signing period?
