Tigers GM (Alex), Astros GM (Max), and 3 more like this

The trade deadline was only a few days ago, and I've already seen a lot of complaints of boredom from owners. So, here's a semi-serious list of ways to keep yourself occupied in the coming weeks of no trading.
The usual. See a movie. Go out to eat. Masturbate. Get the hell off the computer and go to the beach. Play omaha. Learn a new language. Visit your grandparents. Take a nap. Masturbate. But you already knew all that. This list concerns stuff to do in here.
Pay attention to your team, especially if you're contending. I mean, obviously. There are only a handful of weeks before the playoffs begin, so you'll want to be pretty invested in your team's performance. Also, if your team is bad and you still have your pick, then I guess root for your players to suck, but not suck enough to hurt their value really, because you want them to be good eventually I think?
Make a first draft of your 2016 rosters. This is especially if you're out of the playoff race. By creating a 2016 roster, you'll begin to plan ahead for 2016 and see holes in your roster and how much cap room you have to fill them.
Look at the waiver wire. There are plenty of unowned scale players out there, some who haven't been posted yet. It takes research, but you have the time for that, and these are the types of low-risk moves that can add some value to your roster short-term or long-term.
Start prepping for the Rule V draft. Again, fairly research-intensive, so it's good to get a head-start here. Create a list of lots of unowned prospects and trade for draft picks accordingly.
Even start prepping for the 2016 amateur draft. This one is quite far away, so I don't know how much time you want to put into it now, but it's far better than my method of waiting until the pick before to frantically look up like ten prospects and then pick one.
Chat. Super fucking obvious, but I thought I'd include this. There are lots of things to talk about - the real life pennant race, music, Bryan's historic achievements, and how great your prospects are. There's other stuff to discuss, too, I'm sure.
Make posts about the league. How meta. Power rankings, playoff predictions, MVP races, or even something like "The players who will have the biggest impact for each team in the playoffs." I found some post from last year that I made about trading tendencies of new owners. What I'm trying to say is there are lots of options here. Just post whatever you can make up that you think people will want to read. And if time is put in to make the post, they'll read it.
Create some single-season football or basketball or hockey league. That doesn't come around for a while still, especially the latter two, but it's another thing that everyone on here can chat about without it being too time-consuming. Even make some online 2K league if you can get enough people for it.
Request a "Meet the GMs" interview. I haven't done these in a while. Just PM me telling me that you want an interview, and I'll send back a list of questions for you to answer. Even if you've been interviewed in the past, I can come up with a new set of shit to ask.
Go back and read really old posts in an attempt to embarrass yourself or another owner. Pretty standard procedure in here.
Re-read the league rules and suggest changes that need to be made. I know, how boring. Seriously, if you want anything to change, now is a good time to bring up any ideas you have.
Suggest aesthetic changes to the site itself. This is in the same vein as the last point I made. You can request new designs or new boards or go to Proboards' plugin library and go through that if you wish.
That's about all I can come up with right now, but that's about a dozen things in, I dunno, half an hour or so. The good news is you don't have to get the hell off the computer. I'm sure there are plenty of ways to stay occupied right on this site.
