I need your help on this. If you have someone on scale who should not advance a year in service time you need to post it in this thread. I know some, but I don't want to advance everyone then have to keep going back and ticking guys back down a year because I missed them.
A player has gone over the rookie threshold IF they exceed 50 IP or 150 AB's this year. Players under this threshold will remain year 1 players.
A player has gone over the year to year advancement threshold if they exceed 50 AB's or 15 IP's. Players under this threshold and on scale will not advance a year of time.
You can effectively disregard 2015 salary cap information. I'm going to start removing the 2015 commitments and releases today.
This is the first warning/heads up. I'll bump this thread at the end of the season, but I'll give a week or so at the end of the MLB season for everyone to post who is exempt from being advanced from their rosters. After that, you're going to have to give me a pretty sweet trade offer for me to fix someone who was advanced that shouldn't have been.

Not advancing are:
Profar, Matz (looks like both have been reflected already)
I am accepting the extensions of:
Jonathan Lucroy 16:$4M, 17:$5.25M club option Michael Brantley 16:$6.5M, 17:$7.5M, 18:$11M club option
I am accepting the extension of Wade Davis, via his club option this year of 8M. This gives him the contract of 16:$8M, 17:$10M club option
Advancing to FA are: Koji Uehara, Bobby Parnell, and Mike Leake.
Still undecided decisions are: David Robertson contract extension, along with Jose Reyes and Adam Lind's club option.
ME: DONE. Reyes was an ODC FA, it's not a club option. Lind still has an option.

Declining Pedroia's real life contract and releasing him into the wild
Fernando Abad is now a free agent
Picking up Butler's real life contract ($10M through 2017)
Advancing:
Adam Morgan (2)$0.5M
Also, Neil Ramirez should be a (1)($0.3M) as he had less than 15IP in his second season.
Thanks

Master updated. Abad can be claimed through waivers as a 3. Ramirez should be a 2 as he passed the 50 IP threshold this year. Had he gotten 15 IP in 2015, he would have advanced to a 3, not a 2.

Ramirez has only pitched in the majors in 2 yrs:
2014 he had 43.2 IP 2015 he had 14.0 IP
Per the rules he really shouldn't go past prospect status until he's thrown 50IP in a single season. I saw some discussion on this but never a final ruling. In 2015 he did not surpass the 15IP required for a year of service to count. The rules post clearly states that the 50IP must occur in a single season
What am I missing?
Thanks

I've always gone by 50 IP in a given season. There's an obvious mismatch here between SP and RP so I'd be open to amending that, but the rule actually tends to work decently well.
