Tier 1: Clear Championship Contenders
1. Chicago Cubs - After a long off-season where all we heard about was injustice, it Appears Psych is on a mission to obliterate everything in his path, after a impressive, but not so surprising 38-3-1 start, he will finally face a Real team in Cody's Reds, And that's is W2W4.
Tier 2: Very good, but still new
2. Baltimore Orioles - One of two teams that is yet to tie, Jeff has gotten himself off to a very good 32-10 start and is tied for the ALE Lead after 3, However, because this is a long season and there are still 18 weeks to go, it could be very challenging for Jeff to keep up with his biggest competition, the Boston Red Sox
3. Boston Red Sox - We all know Stuart inherited a top 5 team, but give him credit for keeping it that way, Expect Stuart to start crushing people soon and Join Cubs in the elite as only one of his next 10 opponents are above .500(Yeah, the AL is fucking crap)
4. Cincinnati Reds - After an Offseason full of crazy moves, Cody has found the Recipe for success in the early going, He's at 31-8-3, heading into his matchup with cubs, I'd expect Cody to be in it for the duration of the season, and if he can't catch Chicago, expect him to slot in at the WC.
Tier 3: Great Start, Let's see if you can keep it up
5. Miami Marlins - Leads the NLE with a 28-9-5 mark leading into a Matchup with the Mets, while PHI has a cakewalk, so this division could look a lot different next week, That being said, MIA has a strong Offense and Strong Pitching, and will be a tough out for any team.
6. San Francisco Giants - Probably the biggest surprise thus far after starting the season at 32-7-3, He traded for Kevin Gausman last night to sure up the pitching, so It should be intriguing to see how long he stays at the top of the ALW after telling veryone how bad his team is.
7. Minnesota Twins - I'm not even sure if their owner is updating the roster, but nonetheless Machado has gotten off to a good start as has a lot of his other guys, He's in first in the ALC at 28-9-5 and he's beaten good teams, this team is good and I expect them to compete for a while, Maybe this was Brent's master plan, but who knows.
8. Seattle Mariners - Jamie is off to a great start, and could make a case to be higher on this ranking, but I put him here because he hasn't played anyone great yet, and his team may not be deep enough to handle the entire season, he's got talent though.
9. Texas Rangers - Bill currently has a WC spot, and one of the deepest rosters in the AL, he's always a contender in the ALW and that won't change this season, If Jamie sustains a big injury, the division will be Bill's for the taking.
Tier 4(Blue Bloods, They're still the playoff teams until someone knocks the off)
10. Arizona Diamondbacks - Hemmons is 28-8-6, 7 of those losses come from yours truly, I expect him to continue to climb up the standings and be right with psych at the top of the NL, He has great pitching and great hitting, which is a good combination.
11. Chicago White Sox - The ALC pre-season picks are all seem to be off to rough starts, which is good for Mike because his team lacks it's usual dominance this year, He'll climb back up the rankings as his team is still top 3 in the AL.
12. Pittsburgh Pirates - The slow start for Pit has gone rather unnoticed do to other teams starting slow, but Pit is a team that many expect to contend with CHC in the NLC, but even after week 1, it had appeared that the Reds have overtaken the 2nd place throne.
Tier 5(Teams that spent all offseason thinking they could make the playoffs, but probably won't)
13. San Diego Padres - Unfortunately for Noah, many of his players aren't playing like they did last season, this could spell doom as a few of his offseason big money FA's (Gallardo) really don't look too good. He's still at 24-13-5 and his big matchups are on the way starting this week with ARZ.
14. Washington Nationals - Bryan is still living on his week 1 big time win over NYM, but after two weeks of average play leading to a 23-19-0 record (2nd team without a tie) it appears this team is headed down the toilet and ready to settle in at 4th place in the NLE, that might be a few weeks down the line though, because he does have COL this week.
Tier 6 (Best team in the League)
15. New York Mets - Could bench lineup for rest of season, will still be 3rd in NLE
Tier 7 (Wake Up the Season started, and Sanders)
16. Philadelphia Phillies - Oren will be back, his players aren't playing well right now, but he still has a top 5 team in the NL when all is said and done, that being said, he's under .500 and in 4th place in the NLE, probably won't last long, but he doesn't deserve a higher ranking at this point.
17. Kansas City Royals - "I can't wait for people to realize they can't compete and have to sell off" It appears Natty was the first victim of his own phrase as he just dumped Gausman and some other vets to recoup prospects after deciding this wasn't gonna be his year. Disappointing, another team that could have been a WS contender folds after 3 weeks.
18. Cleveland Indians - Not much to say, Probably right where we all expected this team, under .500, won't make playoffs, has some talent to beat good teams, but not consistently.
19. Toronto Blue Jays - This is probably the highest Sanders has ever ranked on a power ranking, his rebuild has finally come around as he knocked off TB last week 9-3-2 in an amazing upset.
20. Tampa Bay Rays - This is probably the lowest Forbz has ever been, at least for a while, He hasn't made any moves yet though, and it might not be that hard to get back in the fight for a WC spot as the AL is honestly terrible, just 6 teams are above .500, and 2 are in the ALW.
21. Detroit Tigers - Another early disappointment, After being a perrenial playoff team it appears time has run out on the detroit tigers, and he could be in for a rebuild.
Tier 8 (Honestly surprised how good these teams are doing)
22. St. Louis Cardinals - Not important enough for me to write about
23. New York Yankees - Not important enough for me to write about
24. Atlanta Braves - Not important enough for me to write about
25. Oakland Athletics - Not important enough for me to write about
