After news earlier in the week that Phil Hughes wanted to be traded due to the fact that the Angels organization's official team name (Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim) was too long, the Angels have talked to many teams about the idea of trading Hughes. "Yeah, when I guy starts ranting about that BS, especially when's he's our 6th SP, there's no reason to keep him on the team", said the Angels GM. "We're typically a no BS team, and were not afraid to show it especially after that Laird problem" ( www.baseballdynasty0.proboards.com/index.cgi?board=www&action=display&thread=1624) "We've talked to many teams who have expressed interest in him, and we feel we have many good offers" he continued. "We feel that Hughes will be far away for the Angels organization very soon" Phil Hughes also commented on this story as well: "Of course the name sucks. Who wouldn't agree? I have people coming up to me all the time, asking me what I do for a living and I reply 'I play for the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim'. Most of the time I can't even say Angels before they walk away. I've started to tell people I'm a child molester. At least people are interested to hear what I have to say now" The Angels have no comment on what Hughes said. Gerald Laird has yet to pay Mariners GM (Now Braves GM) back for his car. Hughes is expected to be charged for child molestation, although there seems to be insufficient evidence to send him to jail. Expect Hughes to leave the Angels in the coming days...or sent to anger management classes.

The South Side White Sox of Chicago are intrigued by Phil Hughes' "BS factor."
"We're all BS here," Terilli said Thursday. "We don't BS about BSing. I'm not BSing you."
