IDK when the deadline is to extend a contract, likely before the first FA group fires up. Anyhow, may as well start the process.
If you are going to take on a real life contract for your expiring player, post in this thread and I'll update the contract info. Players that can be extended are guys who played 2016 on year 6 of their developing player scale service time, or a player who has never been a FA in ODC in the past but has a contract expiring.
If you want to see if a player who could be going to FA's this offseason has a real life contract, you can go to baseball-reference.com or spotrac.com. Don't worry about the contract numbers, just post the player and I'll look up the numbers at some point.
