Hey guys,
As all players are training in Arizona and Florida, we need to do a little preseason prepping ourselves. I haven't been on the ball lately, so I want to get myself and everyone else in midseason form here.
Rule V Draft
Tigers and I are constantly asked about this. After a little discussing, I think we figured something out.
What we plan to do is have a draft of all the unowned prospects here. The following will become available for drafting: MLB prospects, including 2011 amateur draft players that weren't taken here, as well as IFAs that weren't won here. Before we do this, we need a minor league master list. I'll discuss that in a bit more detail in a sec.
We have not decided a draft order or a scheduled date yet.
Master Lists
We've tried this in the past, but it wasn't in our best interest to maintain it. Tigers and I are in the baby steps of creating a roster master list. This way, there is a lot less confusion here. Hopefuly sooner than later, we'll have a way to move info onto a master list.
Also, if possible, I'd like to continue on the transaction master lists.
Waivers
This must get fixed. We've had a few ideas we've liked but nothing has been finalized. As of now I'm fairly impartial in what waiver method to use, and I'll listen to everyone's ideas.
League Activity
...or lack thereof.
I get it, we're in a dry spell. Don't worry guys, it happens. However, we don't want only a few guys on chat every night. Keep trying to come online, update trade blocks, send PMs, post some sports news, make a rumor mill post, you get what I'm saying. It's a vicious cycle; If you pick up your activity, others will follow.
